# Founder's Badge

Viewers who subscribe to a channel during its early days can become **Founder Fans** and earn a special badge to show their support from the very beginning.

The Founding Fan Badge is a unique badge awarded to subscribers who supported the channel during its launch period.

## **Eligibility**

You'll qualify as a Founding Fan if you meet either of the following requirements:

* Subscribe to the channel within **30 days of the streamer's first stream** on CIME.
* Subscribe to the channel **before the streamer goes live for the first time**.

For example, if a streamer's first broadcast is on March 15, anyone who subscribes on or before April 14 will qualify as a Founding Fan.

**Gift subscription recipients can also earn the Founder's Badge** if they meet the eligibility requirements.

## **Badge Availability**

There is no limit to the number of Founding Fan Badges that can be awarded. Any viewer who subscribes during the eligibility period will receive the badge.

### **How the Badge Is Displayed**

The Founding Fan Badge is **only displayed in the channel where it was earned**.

* It will not appear in other channels.
* Once earned, it will **automatically appear next to your name in chat**.

### **Important Notes**

Your **Founder's Badge is permanent** and remains attached to your account even if your subscription expires.

* However, if you're not actively subscribed, your **Subscriber Badge will no longer be displayed in chat**.
* If you resubscribe to the channel, your **Founding Fan Badge will appear again**.

If a subscription is refunded, the **Founder's Badge will be removed and cannot be used**.

* Although, if you subscribe again within 30 days of the streamer's first broadcast, you may be eligible to earn the badge again.
