Subscribers can enjoy benefits such as subscriber badges, custom emotes, and other channel-specific community rewards. CIME offers two subscription options: a Recurring Subscription that renews automatically each month using a saved payment method, and a 1-Month Subscription that provides subscriber benefits for a fixed period without automatic renewal. ## **How to Subscribe**
1. Open the channel you'd like to subscribe to and click **Subscribe**. 2. Select your **preferred subscription tier**. 3. Choose either a **Recurring Subscription** or a **1-Month Subscription**.\ (Only one 1-Month Subscription can be active on an account at a time.) 4. Complete your purchase to activate your subscription. Recurring subscriptions are **billed monthly** and will automatically renew at the end of each subscription period. ## **Subscription Options** #### **Recurring Subscription** * Recurring Subscriptions automatically renew every month until canceled. * Recurring Subscriptions can only be purchased through the CIME website. * **To purchase a Recurring Subscription, you must register a valid payment method** for automatic billing. * Each account can register one payment method. * After the initial purchase, your subscription will renew automatically each month. * 1-Month Subscriptions can be purchased manually using any supported payment method. * Canceling a Recurring Subscription will **stop future renewal charges**. * If a renewal payment fails due to insufficient funds, an expired card, or another payment issue, CIME will automatically retry the payment up to three times. (1:00 PM/4:00 PM/7:00 PM) * If all three payment attempts fail, your subscription will expire and subscriber benefits will be removed based on the date of the final failed payment attempt. #### **1-Month Subscription** * A 1-Month Subscription grants subscriber benefits for one month and does not renew automatically. * It can be purchased using any payment method supported by CIME. * Once the subscription period ends, the subscription expires automatically unless a new subscription is purchased. ## **Subscriber Benefits** Subscribers unlock a variety of channel perks depending on their subscription tier. Tier 2 subscribers receive additional exclusive benefits, including access to Tier 2 emotes and custom nickname colors.

#### **Subscriber-Only Chat** If a streamer enables Subscriber-Only Chat, only active subscribers can participate in chat. #### **Subscriber Badges** Subscribers earn badges based on how long they've been subscribed. These badges appear next to their username in chat. * Badges are awarded based on cumulative subscription time. * Channels can upload and use their own custom badge designs. * Your badge automatically updates as you reach new subscription milestones. #### **Subscriber Anniversary Messages** Subscribers can send a special anniversary message once per month to celebrate their subscription streak. #### **Subscriber Emoticons** Subscribers gain access to exclusive channel emotes. * Channels can offer up to 35 subscriber emotes. * Additional emote slots based on subscriber count are planned for a future update. ## **Subscription Duration** Your subscription duration is tracked cumulatively by month. If your subscription expires or is canceled, your previous subscription history is preserved. If you resubscribe later, your subscription duration will continue from where it left off. Subscription time is combined across all subscription tiers, regardless of which tier you were subscribed to. ## Subscription Tier Upgrades You can upgrade your subscription tier at any time, and upgraded benefits become available immediately. * Upgrading to a higher tier does not reset your existing subscription duration. * When you upgrade, you'll only be charged the difference for the remaining time on your current subscription. * The upgrade price is calculated based on the amount of time left in your current subscription period. #### **Frequently Asked Questions**
Q. Do I lose my subscriber benefits immediately after canceling my subscription? No. Canceling a recurring subscription only stops future renewal payments. Your subscriber benefits will remain active until the end of your current subscription period.
Q. Can I upgrade my subscription tier immediately? Yes. You can upgrade your subscription tier at any time, and your new benefits will be available immediately. When upgrading, you'll only be charged the difference for the remaining time left in your current subscription period.
Q. Does my subscriber streak reset if I cancel my subscription? No. Your subscription history is saved even if you cancel your subscription or let it expire. If you subscribe again later, your previous subscription time will still count toward your total subscription duration and badge progress.
Q. Do subscriber benefits vary by channel? Yes. Some subscriber benefits, such as subscriber badges and subscriber emotes, are customized by each streamer and may vary from channel to channel.
Q. If I switch from a Tier 2 subscription to Tier 1, will my subscription duration be preserved? Yes. Your subscription duration is tracked across all subscription tiers.
