# Purchasing Beams

## **Overview**
**Beams** are CIME's virtual currency, which can be used to support streamers during live broadcasts.
Once purchased, Beams can be used across CIME's donation features and sent along with a personalized message.
## **Purchasing Beams**
* **Beams can be purchased in increments of 1,000, starting from a minimum purchase of 1,000 Beams.**
* 1,000 Beams = KRW 1,100 (includes 10% VAT)
* Maximum daily purchase limit: 1,000,000 Beams
* Beams can be purchased on PC, mobile web, and the CIME mobile app
## **Using Beams**
Beams can be used to support streamers through CIME's donation features during live streams.
* Maximum donation per transaction: **3,000,000 Beams**
* Beams are **deducted on a first-in, first-out basis**
Beams may have different statuses depending on how they were acquired or used.

| **Reserved** | Reserved for a mission reward and temporarily unavailable until the mission outcome is determined. If the mission is canceled or unsuccessful, the Beams will be returned to your available balance. |
| **Used** | Used for a donation or mission reward. |
## **Expiration**
Purchased Beams expire 5 years from the date of purchase.
* Expiration period: **5 years from the payment date**
Expired Beams cannot be restored or refunded
## **Auto Recharge**
Auto Recharge allows Beams to be automatically purchased based on your settings.
Beams can be automatically recharged when:
* Your Beam balance falls below a specified amount
* A scheduled recharge date is reached
If the selected recharge date does not exist in a particular month, the payment will be processed on the **last day of that month**.
## **Important Information**
* Donations are voluntary and **made at the user's discretion.**
* Donations are provided as a form of support to streamers and **do not create any obligation or guarantee** of benefits, services, or outcomes.
* **Users and streamers** are responsible for any interactions, communications, or outcomes related to donations.
#### **Frequently Asked Questions**
Q. How do I purchase Beams?
Beams can be purchased directly from the donation menu while watching a stream on PC, mobile web, or the CIME app.
When using Chat Donations, Video Donations, or Mission Donations, you can purchase Beams through the dedicated purchase button provided in each feature.
Please note that Cheer Donations do not include a separate Beam purchase button.
You can also purchase Beams or set up Auto Recharge through \[My Page] → Donations & Subscriptions or the Beam Balance section.
Auto Recharge is currently not available in the CIME mobile app.
Q. Can Beams be used right away after purchase?
Yes. After the purchase is complete, you can use the beams immediately.
Q. In what order are Beams used?
Beams are used on a first-in, first-out (FIFO) basis, meaning the oldest purchased Beams are used first.
For example, if you purchase 2,000 Beams and later purchase an additional 3,000 Beams, then use 4,500 Beams for a donation, the initial 2,000 Beams will be used first, followed by 2,500 Beams from the second purchase.
In this case, 500 Beams from the second purchase will remain in your balance.
