# Managing Mission Donations

Mission Donations allow viewers to **create challenges for streamers and reward them for successfully completing those challenges**.

Streamers can **customize** **mission settings** in CIME Studio, including alerts, animations, TTS, and minimum mission donation amounts.

## **Enable or Disable Mission Donations**

You can choose whether Mission Donations are available on your channel.

| Setting  | Donation                                       |
| -------- | ---------------------------------------------- |
| Enabled  | Viewers can create and send Mission Donations. |
| Disabled | Mission Donations are turned off.              |

## **Alert Settings**

**Customize how Mission Donation events are displayed** on stream.

### **Alert Types**

You can configure alerts for the following events:

* New Mission
* Goal Reached
* Success
* Failure

### **Animation Settings**

Choose which **animations** appear when Mission Donation events occur.

Different animations can be assigned to different mission events.

### **Sound Settings**

Choose which **sound effects** play when Mission Donation events occur.

Different sounds can be assigned to different mission events.

## **TTS Settings**

Choose whether **mission content is read aloud on stream** using Text-to-Speech (TTS).

You can still receive Mission Donations even if TTS is disabled.

| Setting  | Description                                   |
| -------- | --------------------------------------------- |
| Enabled  | Mission content will be read aloud using TTS. |
| Disabled | Mission content will not be read aloud.       |

You can also customize the TTS voice settings:

* **Volume:** Adjust the TTS volume level
* **Speed:** Normal / Fast / Very Fast

## Donation Amount Settings

Configure the minimum donation amount required to create a mission and the payout amount if a mission fails.

### **Minimum Mission Amount**

Set the **minimum donation amount** required to create a mission.

Viewers can only create missions that meet or exceed the minimum amount set by the streamer.

### **Failed Mission Payout**

Set the **percentage of the mission donation** that will still be paid to the streamer if the mission is unsuccessful.

| Setting           | Description                                             |
| ----------------- | ------------------------------------------------------- |
| Payout Percentage | Percentage of the mission donation paid to the streamer |
| Available Range   | 10%-90%                                                 |

For example, if a viewer creates a mission with a donation of 10,000 Beams and the failed mission payout is set to 50%, the streamer will receive 5,000 Beams if the mission is unsuccessful.

However, the payout cannot exceed the amount of Beams available for the mission, and at least 1,000 Beams must remain refundable if the mission fails.
