Merch Purchase Message
Merch Purchase Message lets you share a message in a Streamer’s Live Stream after purchasing their merch on MarppleShop.
What is a Merch Purchase Message?
When you purchase merch from a Streamer’s MarppleShop store, you can send a message in that Streamer’s Live Stream to let them know about your purchase.
MarppleShop is an e-commerce service where CI.ME Streamers can open their own stores and sell merch to their fans.
MarppleShop is operated by Marpple Corporation, the company that also operates CI.ME. Both services use the same Marpple Corporation account system.
If you sign up for CI.ME with a social media account, you can use the same account to access MarppleShop.
To use Merch Purchase Messages on CI.ME, you must purchase merch on MarppleShop using the same Marpple Corporation account you use for CI.ME.
1. Get a Merch Purchase Message
You can get a Merch Purchase Message by purchasing a Streamer’s merch on MarppleShop.
You can visit a Streamer’s MarppleShop store from the following locations.
From a Streamer’s Live Stream or Replay
Click the Channel Merch tag at the bottom left of the video player. A list of products will appear in the chat area, where you can select the merch you want.
You can also select merch directly from the Streamer’s Channel Merch section below the video player.
From the Store tab on a Streamer’s Channel
Visit the Streamer’s Channel and open the Store tab to see the MarppleShop merch currently available for purchase. Select the merch you want from the list.
2. Use Your Merch Purchase Message in a Live Stream
After purchasing a Streamer’s merch on MarppleShop, return to that Streamer’s Live Stream. A message field for sharing your merch purchase will automatically appear.
Select the merch purchase you want to share.
Write a message and click Send Message. You can also send it without entering a message.
Turn on the Anonymous toggle at the bottom left to send your Merch Purchase Message anonymously.
When You Can’t Use a Merch Purchase Message
You won’t be able to use a Merch Purchase Message with your existing CI.ME account if you purchased the merch on MarppleShop while signed in with a different Marpple Corporation account.
You cannot use Merch Purchase Messages if you have been banned from the Streamer’s Channel.
Merch purchased from platforms other than MarppleShop is not eligible for Merch Purchase Messages on CI.ME.
