About Badges

CI.ME badges come in subscriber, channel, and role types. Up to four show beside your name, role badges first, and channel badges appear only where earned.

Overview

CI.ME uses a chat badge system to recognize viewer activity, contributions, and roles within the community.

You can earn badges through various activities across the platform. Some badges may be removed if the requirements for maintaining them are no longer met.

Badges appear next to your username in chat and help other viewers identify your role, status, or contributions within a channel.

Some badges are channel-specific and will only appear in the channel where they were earned. As a result, the badges you see may vary from one channel to another.

For example, a badge earned in Channel A will not be displayed when chatting in Channel B.

  • All other badges can be reordered by the user.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How do I check my badges?

Your badges appear next to your name in chat.

Simply send a message in chat to see which badges are currently being displayed on your account.

Q. Will my badges show up in every channel?

Not always. Badges earned through activities in a specific channel are only visible within that channel.

For example, if you earn a badge in Channel A, it won't appear when you're chatting in Channel B. Only badges that apply to the current channel will be displayed.

Q. How many badges can be displayed at once?

Up to 4 badges can be displayed next to your username in chat at the same time.

Q. Can I change the display order of my badges?

Yes. Most badges can be reordered to your preference.

However, Role Badges always appear first and cannot be moved. All other badges can be arranged however you'd like.

Q. How can I earn Support Badges?

Support Badges may be awarded for your first donation or based on your total amount of support within a channel.

Q. How can I earn a Subscriber Badge?

Subscriber Badges are earned by subscribing to a channel. Your badge will automatically upgrade as your subscription time grows, showing how long you've supported that streamer.

Q. Can I hide my Subscriber Badge?

No. Subscriber Badges are always displayed and cannot be hidden manually.

Some Channel Badges may allow you to control whether they are displayed, but Subscriber Badges will always appear as part of your active subscription status.
